For over 25 years the Canadian Ski Council has been partnering with Big White and other ski areas all across Canada to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible for families with the snow pass. The goal of this program is to the eliminate obstacles associated with learning skiing and snowboarding, and promote the enjoyment of winter recreation in the great outdoors. Big White Ski Resort shares the same goal, which is why we have worked so closely with the Canadian Ski Council for many years, and worked for 60 years to shape our ski and snowboard school into one of the best in the country. Helping skiers and snowboards of all ages learn new skills and techniques through a wide variety of programs.

Our beginner ski lessons for kids or adults interested in skiing or snowboarding have been widely successful. For those who have never ever been on the snow before, come to our next Never Ever Days weekend in February where you can learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding. Maybe you have been on the snow a few times - but would like a few tips and tricks from our snow school professionals. Our Turn, and Learn Friday Nights program is the perfect opportunity to receive free coaching from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm.

Every Canadian child should have the opportunity to experience skiing or snowboarding, and this Grade 4 & 5 snow pass aims to facilitate that. One family from Ontario said that “the Grade 4 & 5 snow pass helped get the whole family out skiing together.” Another noted that “the snow pass saved us a lot of money!” said Aarna from Quebec. The snow pass promotes winter physical activity for youth and encourages families to enjoy the slopes together. Each passholder is required to have an adult on site at Big White. So, bring out the whole family this winter and enjoy all of our terrain, for less!
