Mainly cloudy with isolated flurries today becoming overcast with snow starting overnight tonight. Total isolated snowfall amounts up to 4-7 cm are possible by tomorrow morning. SW-S ridge winds near 15-20 km/h with occasional gusts up to 30-35 km/h are expected today, becoming light up to 15 km/h tonight. Freezing levels are expected to be in the 1200-1600 m range today and 800-1200 m range tonight.
Synopsis
Lingering moisture is expected to bring isolated flurries today with light ridge winds. Next, the warm front associated with a Pacific low tracking into the US Northwest tonight is expected to bring snow overnight tonight/tomorrow with light ridge winds becoming light-moderate tomorrow evening. A ridge of high pressure builds on Friday with fair and dry conditions and moderate ridge winds. Freezing levels up to 1200-1600 m are expected through Friday.
3 to 5 Day Outlook
The ridge of high pressure is expected to continue providing fair and dry conditions throughout the weekend with light ridge winds on Saturday becoming light-moderate on Sunday. Freezing levels are expected to fall to the 600-1000 m range as well.

Visitors should be aware that mountain weather can be variable and change quickly. Daytime temperatures can be 5C to 10C degrees cooler at the summit and sky conditions may vary with elevation. Summit levels are also often breezier as wind flows unimpeded by trees and buildings. If you are headed to the top, be prepared, dress appropriately and you be sure to enjoy all that Big White Mountain Resort has to offer.
