Big White for Three Generations
I have booked the tickets, and now it all feels real. This was all made easier once I made the call to several Ski Travel Agencies and other Agents, which helped steer us in the right direction. We ended up choosing to fly with China Southern Airlines. This decision was made for two reasons. Firstly, value for money, they gave us the best price for flying as a family. Secondly, time availability for the time of the year we were flying was much more flexible. We were a little concerned with flying with a not as well-known Airline, but our agent reassures us they are well equipped for all our requirements, kid’s entertainment being one major factor!!
By choosing to go through a travel agent has also assisted us with other travel requirements, such as travel visa's and travel insurance. As we are flying via China we needed to clarify any visa requirements, which turns out are not necessary. Travel insurance was another matter to be dealt with. Although we ended up buying this online, the travel agent was able to advise what we needed to look for in insurance, especially going on a ski trip. Make sure your cover has unlimited hospital, good dental cover, and emergency evacuation cover. Let’s hope this item is not required on the snow fields!!
So enough formalities for now stay tuned for my next installment on how you plan your family trip to Big White!
