14th Annual Big White Fire Department Rooftop Campout

Come out and support the Big White Fire Department as they once again take to the Dizzy's Roof in the Village Centre in support of Paws It Forward in Kelowna. 

The Big White Fire Department is thrilled to announce its 14th Annual Rooftop Campout fundraiser. Their crew will be camping out on top of Dizzy's roof from Friday, March 20th to Sunday, March 22nd, where you can join the firefighters for games and family-friendly activities, purchase 50/50 tickets, and grab one of their much-anticipated Rooftop Campout t-shirts. You will also have the chance to meet some of the four-legged friends from Paws It Forward on March 21st, when some of the adoptable dogs will be joining us. 

Each year, BWFD hosts its Rooftop Campout in order to raise much-needed funds for charitable organizations that matter deeply to both their department and our community. This year, they are thrilled to be supporting Paws It Forward, a Kelowna-based non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of vulnerable animals while providing support programs that help keep pets with their families during times of hardship. Your donations will directly help them continue their lifesaving work across the Okanagan. 

The BWFD is continually inspired by the generosity of the Big White community, and with your support, they're aiming to reach their annual fundraising goal of $10,000 for this incredible cause. 

You can donate in person at any of their community events, and all proceeds from their raffle, 50/50, and annual Rooftop Campout t-shirts will go directly to Paws It Forward. Shirts can be purchased at community events leading up to the Campout or at the fire station (7555 Porcupine Road) during daytime hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm), while supplies last. Cash, card, and e-transfer are all accepted.
