Detailed Forecast

Mainly fair weather expected over much of the day today, then becoming mostly cloudy with periods of snow developing by late afternoon or early evening. Ridge wind SW-SE near 15-25 km/h gusting up to 30-40 km/h. Freezing level in the range of 1700-2000 m expected.

Synopsis

A series of weak impulses from Pacific lows are expected to bring periods of snow this afternoon into tomorrow night. Freezing levels in the range of 1000 to 1500 m are expected for today and tomorrow.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

A chance of light snow is still possible Sunday evening, and lingering Monday morning, before clearing out in the afternoon. A final impulse from a Pacific low is expected to bring periods of light snow on Tuesday and wednesday. Freezing levels falling to near 1200 m are expected Sunday through Tuesday. Light to moderate ridge winds are also expected over the outlook period.
