Looking to kick off your weekend with some excitement? Look no further than Fiv'r Fridays!
Our weekly bike race series that promises adrenaline-pumping action and fierce competition. Join us for an exciting season of racing and push your limits on some of the best trails around! Check out the details of our new format below.
Date: Every Friday starting July
Time: Registration starts at 2:30 PM - 4:45PM, Race begins at 5:30 PM, Racing ends at 6:15 PM
Registration Fee: $5 per racer
Come be a part of the downhill race series at Bike Big White! This year, we are excited to introduce a new format, featuring our 'Friendly Fiv'r League' and the 'Flat Out Fiv'r League'.
The Friendly Fiv’r League, follows our traditional format and is designed as an intermediate or blue league. This series is perfect for those who are new to racing or looking to develop their skills.
Highlights:
- Ideal for New Racers and Development Categories: Perfect for youth, women, and other emerging racers.
- Diverse Categories: Groms Men/Women, U20 Men/Women, and Open Men/Women
Introducing the Flat Out League, a new addition to the Fiv’r Series tailored for advanced riders. This league offers more challenging courses on difficult or black trails.
Highlights:
- Advanced Racing: Perfect for riders seeking greater challenges beyond the current Fiv’r series.
- Challenging Trails: Featuring some of our most difficult trails.
- Diverse Categories: U20 Men/Women, Open Men/Women, and Masters Men/Women
Registration takes place in the Village Centre every Friday from 2:30 PM to 4:45 PM, and please note that we only accept cash payments at this time.To ensure a prompt start to the races at 5:30 PM, registration will close promptly at 4:45 PM. Racing window runs from 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM.
Please be aware that participants in the Elite Category (or those more expert riders) will race after all other riders have completed their races.
All racers must sign waivers weekly. For those racers that are 18 and under, you must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver before registration will be processed.
Prizes await the winners of each category, alongside five extra prizes randomly distributed among participants every week. Join us for the post-race awards ceremony at 6:30 PM on The Woods patio, where you can enjoy a $5 PBR whilst we announce the lucky recipients.**
Can't make it to The Woods? We will also announce winners the following day on the @bikebigwhite Instagram and Facebook, so be sure to follow along.
**Prizes must be collected at the awards. Your prize will be added to the pile if you are not there to receive it.
