Partly cloudy is expected today, then becoming overcast with periods of snow at times moderate to heavier tonight, and tapering down to light snow tomorrow with the potential of mixing with showers late tomorrow afternoon or early evening, before clearing tomorrow night, with up to 7-15 cm snowfall accumulations possible tonight through tomorrow. The ridge winds are expected to remain light this morning, then increasing this afternoon into the evening, and reaching 30-40 km/h gusting to 45-55 km/h from the S-SW tonight into tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels at the valley bottom are expected to start today, then rising up to near 1000 m tonight and further to 1500-1900 m over the day tomorrow, before rising up to around 2600 m tomorrow evening.

Mainly fair and dry conditions are expected to continue over the day today. A strong low pressure pushing on the BC coast is then expected to bring periods of snow at times moderate to heavier tonight, and tapering down to light snow tomorrow, potentially mixing with showers late tomorrow afternoon or early evening, before resuming to fair conditions tomorrow night. Light to moderate ridge winds are also expected over much of the day today, then increasing to moderate to strong tonight into tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels are expected to start at valley bottom today, then rising to near 1000 m tonight, and 1500-1900 m over the day tomorrow, before further reaching around 2500 m tomorrow evening.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

Fair and dry conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, then followed with a chance of flurries and showers mix on Thursday. Light-moderate ridge winds are also expected through much of the outlook period, with freezing levels up to 2300-2600 m as well.
