Synopsis

A ridge of high pressure will continue to provide fair, dry and mild alpine conditions through Monday afternoon. Light ridge winds are expected today/tomorrow becoming light-moderate on Monday. A low is expected to track across the central BC interior Monday night bringing a rain showers/flurries mix and moderate-strong ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2400-2800 m today, 1400-1800 m tonight, then rising to 3000-3400 m tomorrow and finally 3200-3600 m on Monday.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

In the wake of the low, flurries, cooler alpine conditions and strong ridge winds are expected on Tuesday. Another, ridge of high pressure will build on Wednesday returning to fair and dry conditions with light-moderate ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1400-1800 m on Tuesday, then rising slightly to 1600-2000 m on Wednesday.
