At Big White Ski & Board School, our passionate team of Pros is excited to introduce you to the joy of skiing or snowboarding through our Discover Group Lessons. With guidance from top-level instructors and access to one of the best beginner areas in the world, you’ll build confidence and skills right from day one.
Our Discover Half Day and Full Day lessons are specially designed to make your first experience fun, safe, and supportive - all in a friendly group setting that encourages progress and enjoyment.

Details:
- Book in advance online to save 10%
- You must be a true first timer in order to participate in the Discover program
- You are only able to participate in the Discover program once per discipline
- The Next Step lesson package then provides the perfect way to progress new ski and snowboard skills.
LESSON ABILITY LEVELS
A pre lesson assessment will be carried out by our snow pros to ensure you are in the group which best suits your ambitions and abilities. All lessons are grouped based on ability level and age.
BEGINNER - Learn the basics of stopping, changing direction and feeling in control on a gentle slope.
NOVICE - Develop your comfort and confidence with linking turns on our longer beginner trails.
INTERMEDIATE - Improve control and comfort on a variety of moderate terrain.
ADVANCED - Master your control and flow on more challenging terrain across the whole mountain.
