Merry Christmas from Big White Ski Resort!

We must have been very good this year, because Santa collaborated with the Snow Gods to bring us the best possible Christmas at Big White Ski Resort. We're talking 49cm of fresh snow over the last seven days, bringing us to a cumulative snow fall of 374cm and an official snow base of 202cm.

To celebrate a fantastic Christmas season, we've put together a list of events from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day that are bigger and better than ever before. Check out what's happening around the mountain as part of our Big White Holiday Experience.

Don't forget that our regular weekly events are still happening throughout the holiday season, and our regular activities all have extended hours - including skating, tubing and even night skiing (which is happening every night this holiday season except for the 24th and the 31st)!

1. Christmas Eve Service
24th December, 4:30pm

Start the evening with our Christmas Eve church service which takes place in the Village Centre Mall at 4:30pm. Enjoy a special service from Pastor Jack and music provided by the Rookie Ski School choir. Music from the choir kicks off from 4:10pm, so get in early to enjoy the carols and save a seat.

2. The "12 Days of Christmas" parade
24th December, 6pm (hot chocolate and chestnuts handed out at 5:30pm)

Join parade marshalls Loose and Lucy Moose for our traditional Christmas Eve Parade. This year, the village center will be transformed into a magical display where you will see our presentation of the 12 days of Christmas with a Big White twist! There will be hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts & carol singing to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, as well as the Ski School Torchlight procession followed by an incredible fireworks display. If we’re lucky we might even get a visit from Santa himself!

3. Ski and Snowboard with Santa
25th December, 10am

After Santa's gruelling night of delivering presents, he makes a special stop at Big White for a ski! This is your chance to ski and snowboard with Santa Claus. Meet outside the Village Centre Mall at 10am.

4. Ring in the New Year with Big White
31st December, 4pm

The best possible way to kick off the New Year is to spend it with family and friends, having a great time amongst the snow and the fireworks. Here's the schedule for the evening!

4:00pm - Family Apres Ski in Happy Valley Day Lodge
5:00pm-6:30pm - Bonfire and Hot Chocolate around the Skating Rink in Happy Valley
6:30pm-8:00pm - Mini Family Channel Carnival Night in Sk8ers
8:00pm- Fireworks Display in Happy Valley
Midnight - Fireworks Display in the Village
