Weekly Fireworks: January 4th, 2025
Every week this winter, join us in Happy Valley for a breathtaking fireworks display starting at 8:15pm. As the sky darkens, watch in awe as vibrant bursts of color light up the night, creating a dazzling spectacle against the snowy backdrop. These weekly fireworks are the perfect way to add a touch of magic to your winter evenings, bringing joy and excitement to both locals and visitors alike. Weekly Events Kick off: January 7th - March 29th, 2025
Starting January 7th, 2024, we’re kicking off our weekly events programming at Big White Ski Resort! Every week, enjoy exciting activities like Bingo Tuesdays, where you can try your luck, Wonder Wednesdays filled with magic and surprises, and Twinkling Trail Thursdays with stunning illuminated trails. Get your groove on with Tube & Groove Fridays, and wrap up the week with carnival-themed fun every Saturday. These weekly events are set to keep the energy high and the fun going all season long!
Bingo Tuesdays: Starting January 7th, 2025
Join us every Tuesday for an afternoon and evening filled with Bingo fun! From 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm, take on Ski Run Bingo by hitting the slopes and completing your bingo card as you ski down different runs, with the chance to win a full house. Then, head to Happy Valley from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for our classic Bingo Night, where you can win great prizes in a lively atmosphere. Whether you're skiing or relaxing in the evening, Bingo Tuesdays are the perfect way to add some excitement to your week!
Wonder Wednesdays - Magic & More at Big White: Starting January 8th, 2025
Experience the magic of Wonder Wednesdays at Big White! In the afternoon, from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm, our Events Team will be out on the mountain, adding extra fun to your day with exciting activities—just check the "Fun Forecast" board at the top of the Gondola for details. Then, in the evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, head to Happy Valley for a family-friendly evening of magic, crafts, and surprises. Each week offers something new, ensuring an enchanting atmosphere and memorable moments for everyone!
Twinkling Trail Thursday's: Starting January 9th, 2025
Join us for Twinkling Trails Thursdays, featuring a special Light Walk evening craft! Every Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, kids can decorate their own paper lanterns in preparation for the magical Light Walk event. It’s a fun, creative way to kick off an enchanting evening of lights. Once the lanterns are ready, you can hang them along the trail or take them home as a keepsake. Don’t miss this festive and magical experience every Thursday night!
Tube and Groove Fridays with Loose Moose: Starting January 10th, 2025
Kick off your weekend with Tube and Groove Fridays every Friday night from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm! Enjoy lively music, exciting tubing, and extra treats like hot chocolate, a bonfire, and s’mores. Loose Moose will be there to tube and groove with the whole family, making the evening even more fun and unforgettable. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend with family-friendly fun!
Carnival Saturdays: Starting January 11th, 2025
Step right up and join us every Saturday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for our exciting weekly Carnival! Enjoy delicious popcorn, cotton candy, a bouncy castle, face painting, and a variety of games with prizes to win. It’s the perfect fun-filled evening for the whole family!
The Loose Moose Challenge: January 11th - 12th, 2025
Dive into the thrilling Loose Moose Challenge and help us track down the adventurous Loose Moose who’s gone astray! Kick off your quest in the Village Centre with Lucy, who will guide you through a series of exhilarating riddles and clues. Unleash your inner detective and embark on an epic journey to find Loose Moose and solve the mysteries he’s left behind. Get ready for an adventure packed with excitement and fun!
Jr Chef Challenge: January 17th, 2025
Join us for an exciting culinary adventure at the Big White Jr. Chef Challenge, led by Executive Chef Boddie Macklin Shaw! Young competitors will face three skill-testing challenges, with the top three advancing to the final round to replicate a dish created by our Chef. The winner will be crowned Jr. Chef Champion in this unforgettable family-friendly event!
