When Big White Ski Resort was formed by two ski-loving friends in 1963, it began with big dreams – and those dreams are nowhere near being fulfilled. For decades, Cliff Serwa and Doug Mervyn, the Schumann family, and now the Plimmer family, have designed and developed and dreamed looking decades ahead. 

The final three contestants take part in a massive enduro race, and, in Episode 10, the winner is awarded with their pro sponsorship after another massive second day on the bike.

Being a racer isn’t just about results.

Big White Ski Resort is encouraging its guests, staff and residents to follow the Provincial Health Office orders and ring in 2021 on December 31 with only their immediate household bubble. 

At Big White Ski Resort, we are committed to enforcing the absolute BEST cleaning protocols in all of our public spaces. We’ve told you about the process in our hotels, and around the resort, and now we want to share with you a little bit about the process in our gondola cabins.

Working from home? Why not work at your home away from home – and by work, we mean strap on a pair of planks and hit the slopes. Still in the office? Well, we’re not saying we promote “calling in sick,” but we aren’t not promoting it… (please, do not come up to the mountain if you are actually sick!). Retired? What’s your excuse?! Skiing and snowboarding midweek has many perks, and we’ve compiled a few to get you pumped about that Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:30pm ski lifestyle.

Contestants must work with a suspension tech to dial in their suspension for the big race.
