Throughout the winter season, Big White is teaming with visitors from around the world. With guests flying in from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico and so many other far-off locations, we know that adjusting from a long-haul flight can be a drag.

To make your stay at Big White as comfortable and “Canadian” as possible, it’s important to know the ins and outs of tipping etiquette here in the Great White North. (And no, we don’t mean the “don’t eat yellow snow” kind of tips).

1963: Lester B. Pearson was prime minister; a lakefront home in Kelowna cost just over $16,000; and, Big White Ski Resort opened to the public for the first time ever. 

We're a week out from the biggest event of the summer at Big White Ski Resort, and the course for the Big White Invitational Slopestyle is nearly finished. Austin Davignon, Alexander Chisholme and Dustin Gilding of LOFT Bike Parks first set foot at Big White on May 7 with snow still on the ground at the future site. They were joined shortly after by the newest addition to the team, Corbin Selfe.
